Since I was a little girl, I had always dreamed of owning my own wedding dress shop… although I wasn’t sure it would happen.
My career has taken me down some exciting paths, starting with my first foray into the world of weddings at the age of 15 when I worked as a bridal consultant.
Kyla has been a bridal consultant for seven years and what she doesn’t know about wedding dresses, isn’t worth knowing.
Kyla has a passion for life and an enthusiasm for her job that’s magnetic - be prepared to meet one of the loveliest people you could ever hope to encounter.
Sam has been a bridal seamstress for over 30 years. A very skilled seamstress with a keen eye to detail, if she can’t do it, it can’t be done!

Yes. We are open by appointment only, 7 days a week. To make an appointment please go to our contact page and fill out the form. We also offer ‘last minute’ appointments so please call us if you’re in a rush!
First appointments usually last 1-1.5hours. Follow up appointments usually take up to an hour. Princess appointments last up to 3 hours.
We try not to charge for regular Bridal appointments, only for the Princess package appointments to cover the cost of the extras involved. Deposits may be taken for out of hours and Sunday appointments if your wedding is over 18 months away.
Any deposit taken will be fully refunded against any purchase made during your appointment though. A no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment will mean the deposit is nonrefundable.
As many as you want but we usually say aim for between 5-7 to avoid going dress blind! The choice is ultimately yours though!
You don’t need to wear anything specific for appointments – we will advise on what to have ready for alterations appointments.
Shoes aren’t necessary until your first alterations appointment.
Since Covid restrictions we have to limit it to the bride plus three guests. If, however you request a private ‘out of hours’ or Princess appointment, you may bring up to seven guests with you.
This allows us to still maintain social distancing where necessary and legally required. (Covid rules dependent).
We have a budget friendly range in store and are also willing to sell sample dresses and stock dresses for a discounted price. We also offer interest free payment plans too!

We have an in-house seamstress and can discuss pricing options with you during your visit.
Unfortunately we only have a very limited amount of storage space in our Chapel so your gown will need to be collected once it arrives in store - this is usually 4-6 months from the time of order. If you are desperate we will store a few gowns depending upon space availability. This is charged at £20 per month per item and must be paid for upfront. If your gown was purchased off the rack then unfortunately we can not store it as we just don’t have the space.
